Fundraising is an important role if the committee as we rely heavily on funds raised from events over the school year. If you have any ideas for fundraising please speak to a member of staff or come along to one of our committee meetings (see Times & Dates). This is also a great opportunity for you to get to know other parents/carers on the committee.
All our current fundraising is targeted at our new building fund. We currently operate from an old modular building on Bream Church of England Primary School site and a survey on the building in 2016 highlighted that the building is in poor condition. We were unable to renovate our current building as it is situated across both Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucester Diocese land, but GCC and Bream School have kindly assigned us land to the rear of school where we can locate a new building.Our current lease expires in August 2020 and will not be renewed.
Over the past 6 years we have raised sufficient funds to install and complete a refurbished two room building. This is currently scheduled for delivery and installation during the summer break. We were unable to afford an office space within the new building and will continue to raise funds for a self contained office on site and to replace resources.
